NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC

TIMELINE FOR COMPLETION OF IESL PART III EXAMINATION

The Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka (IESL) has decided to publish a time period for completing the IESL Part III (A/B) examination for the candidates who are falling under the following three categories:

• Candidates who registered for the IESL Engineering Course (PART I, II & III) and followed it thereafter. Candidates must have completed all the subjects of IESL Part I and II to enroll for this scheme.
• Candidates who submitted applications before 22^nd October 2018 to assess their eligibility to become Associate Members of the IESL through “non-accredited/non-recognized engineering degree” assessment path.
• Senior Officers Employed in Sri Lanka Air Force/Navy/Army who submitted applications before 10^th March 2023 to assess their eligibility to become Associate members of the IESL through “assessment of engineering degree qualification of the Senior Officers Employed in Sri Lanka Air Force/Navy/Army to obtain the AMIE(SL)”.

Accordingly, the relevant candidates have to complete the examination during the 2024 examination session if they are further interested. Please note that IESL will not continue the said examination after 2024. Since no appeals will be entertained after closing the applications for the last examination, prospective candidates are advised to make use of this opportunity. Examination schedule is shown in the

table below.
