IESL Weekly Radio Program - ඉංජිනේරු හෝරාව
“ඉංජිනේරු හෝරාව”, was a radio programme broadcasted over the SLBC Sinhala Commercial Service (94.5 FM) from 9.00AM to 10.00AM on Saturdays, since 25th August, 2018 as a public service, to help the general public understand the basic concepts and good practices of engineering that are encountered in everyone's daily life, and also giving an opportunity to ask related questions from the panels of experts present during the programme.
Presented by the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka (IESL), the apex body for engineering professionals, the programme takes IESL activities and nationally important engineering related topics to the masses. Now conducted only in Sinhala, a Tamil version too of the programme may become a reality soon.
Having funded the initial programmes by itself, the IESL is looking for sponsors for long term continuity of the programme. It is a very attractive way to reach out to millions in the country at a minimal investment, joining hands with the apex body in Sri Lankan engineering - IESL. Sponsorship for a single program is Rs 60,000/- and we encourage at least one month's coverage
