| The Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka is conducting a course of (approximately) 05 year duration equivalent to a degree to enable those desiring to pursue further studies in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical and Electronics, Telecommunication & Computer Engineering.
This Course (in English Medium) is conducted on Saturdays and Sundays at IESL Headquarters and consists of IESL Part I, II & III. Practicals will be conducted at the University of Moratuwa / Open University of Sri Lanka. Associate Membership of the Institution can be obtained on successful completion of this Engineering Course.
This qualification is recognized by the Government of Sri Lanka and also by the Private Sector for employment as an Engineer.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE IESL PART II COURSE
- Those who have passed three subjects in IESL Part I Examination
- Those who have completed EC Part I (old Syllabus) Examination,
(I) NDT diplomates who have passed out after 1987 and whose academic transcripts have been issued from the University of Moratuwa
(II) NDES diplomates of IET – Katunayake
(III) HNDE diplomates
Participants (I,II & III) above should complete remaining subjects, which were not exempted, prior to the completion of the Part III of the IESL Eng. course.

- DURATION :
12 – 15 months
- COURSE FEE : Part II – Rs. 75,000/-* (Rs.40,000/- should be paid at registration and the balance on or before 28th July 2009).
Exemption Fee of Rs.15, 000/- would be levied from the students who have completed EC Part I Examination (old syllabus), NDT,NDES & HNDE Diplomates.
